INFORMATIONAL MESSAGE FROM ALERT CAROLINA: Chapel Hill Police Investigating Armed Robbery Near Campus

The following information has been shared with the campus by the Chapel Hill Police:

Chapel Hill Police are investigating a reported armed robbery that occurred near Pantana Bob’s at 305 West Rosemary Street (near Church Street) Saturday, Sept. 28 around 11 p.m. The victim, a non-UNC student, described the suspects as three Hispanic males who were last seen running westbound on Rosemary Street toward the Key Food Mart (across the street from Breadmen’s Restaurant). Two of the suspects were wearing black shirts; a third was wearing a pink shirt and was described as having gold teeth. One of the suspects had a facial tattoo.
