UPDATE: Individual Sought by Police NOW Located
UNC Police are currently searching for a individual in the vicinity of Brauer Hall off western Manning Drive. The individual, who is not thought to be armed or considered an immediate safety threat, walked off from the Butner Mental Health Hospital officials who were escorting him to a medical appointment shortly before 3 p.m. Wednesday, October 25.
The individual is a 26-year old white male, 5-7 in height, with a thin build and short-cropped brown hair. He was wearing a grey, long-sleeve sweatshirt, white sneakers, and baggy jeans.
